In it, you’ll find paintings I have done for various reasons; Portrait Commissions of individuals, their families, pets and their businesses: Images of the town where I spent my first 75 years, Rochester New York, and of the town my late wife Debbie and I spent many vacations together, New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Exhibited here are magazine covers I’ve been commissioned to paint, a sampling of other business commissions, featured paintings for PBS affiliate fund-raising events, as well as other stuff. I happen to love this image. The photograph was taken from a large view camera. I know that because, while I was painting, I discovered the reflection of the cameraman, his assistant and the camera in the plate glass window. That reflection is very noticeable in the painting.
