Below is a sampling of commissions Jim has recently painted. Messenger-Post Newspapers asked Jim to paint covers for the newspaper’s Home Supplement Magazine covers. Clay Jenkins, an internationally recognized Jazz Trumpeter and Professor at the Eastman School of Music commissioned Jim to paint a CD cover for an album he recorded recently. Corn Hill Navigation asked for an official painting of their two cruise boats, the “Mary Jemison” and “Sam Patch.” For the past 3 years, Jim has been featured painter for Rochester’s Public Television Affiliate WXXI’s annual fund raiser Auction. Those featured paintings are available as Prints at The Creator’s Hands and Mercury Poster, Rochester.
